What stands for Lexus models mean

Lexus nomenclature can be confusing at times: IS, RC, CT, LS, GS, RX, NX ... What mean these two letters referred to each model? Believe it or not, have a specific meaning.

 Started by step access to the brand, the compact CT 200h. Its name refers to Creative Touring. Creative, because it uses a hybrid engine, hence the "h" finally a segment dominated by Diesel; whereas Touring concerns that it has sufficient capacity to accommodate passengers and baggage, without being affected by the space they occupy batteries.

The most compact NX, meanwhile, has the word Nimble (agile) in its name, given their smaller and more dynamic skills.
