2014 Mazda3 Unveiled

At London, 2014 Mazda3 Unveiled, which will be available from 25 October 2013.


The new Mazda 3 already shines like the CX-5 and the Mazda 6 in the new Kodo design of Mazda and also has the Skyactive technology hidden beneath the sleek bodywork.

The third generation of the Mazda 3 will continue the success of the previous two, which have been found more than 3.5 million customers since 2003. The new Mazda 3 is a complete rewrite of its predecessor and has only the name in common.

The Kodo design, which was first shown in 2010, has been further developed for the Mazda 3 and has been refined, especially in the design. The length of the new Mazda 3 is 450 cm.

While the front of the larger Mazda 6 is quite similar to the Mazda 3 has received a very independently designed rear. The new Mazda 3 acts even more dynamic than the Mazda 6 and will also appeal to sports-minded customers.


In the interior of the new Mazda 3 presents also very independent. The information display is positioned separately compared to the other new Mazda models on the center console and so acts as a freestanding unit, which enhances the airy feel of the interior.

The valves landscape has very sporty features and has a clear arrangement of all elements. But the new Mazda 3 also offers this much space and good facilities. With 350 to 1,250 liters, the luggage capacity is also moving average in its class.

Upgraded Mazda also has in safety technology: the new Mazda 3 will be available on the i-Active Sense security package including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, City Safety Stop and Blind Spot Assistant. On request, a head-up display will be ordered for the first time in the Mazda 3, which in addition to the speed can also display additional information.


When the engine you can choose to start between the new GE100-Skyactive with 100 hp, the 120 bhp Skyactive-GE120 or GE165-Skyactive, as well known from the CX-5 and Mazda 6 diesel with 150 hp.

All engines will shine with this economy and good torque. For much fun Skyactive the chassis, which offers already in the Mazda 6 is a harmonious combination provides.

Standard for all engines with a manual 6-speed transmission, at the request of the 120 hp gasoline and diesel are also available with a 6-speed automatic.
