In honor of the 10th May 2012 Carroll Shelby Ford died last weekend has 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Cobra presented with 850 hp.

This years edition of the prestigious motorsport festival is dominated by Carroll Shelby and the 50-year anniversary of his 1962 Shelby Cobra race car featured.
"Carroll Shelby himself was at the age of 89 years have been an inspiration to us all," Jim Farley stressed during the ceremony. "We celebrate 2012, the 50-year anniversary of the original Shelby Cobra. This special model is its fascinating idea into practice, the current Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 to turn into a real Cobra."
Based on the standard Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 model year 2013 with 5.8 liters and 487 kW large (662 hp) V8 engine developed the "Friends of Carroll Shelby" a spectacular one-off.
